Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Divine Majestic was steeped in the vibrant rhythms of funk, jazz, and soul from the very beginning. Surrounded by a community alive with musical expression, he found his voice early—beatboxing by the age of five, already captivated by the pulse and poetry of sound.

At 14, Divine discovered experimental jazz, falling in love with Sun Ra's transformative album "Pathways to Unknown Worlds " in his father's record collection. This connection ignited his passion for jazz and music production, fueled by their shared Alabama roots.

Divine channels the spirit of the South into a rich, genre-defying sound. Drawing inspiration from musical giants like Isaac Hayes, Duke Ellington, and Willie Mitchell, his work is a soulful convergence of jazz, r&b, funk, and timeless groove. Over more than a decade, he has sculpted a signature style—meticulously crafting instrumental compositions that pulse with emotion, rhythm, and originality. The result is what he calls Magnific—a sonic tapestry that transcends boundaries and invites listeners into a world where tradition meets innovation.

Divine Majestic's debut album, Harmonic Mystique: Volume One, brings originality back to the forefront. Fusing ancient tonalities with the rich textures of classical, soul, jazz, ambient, and funk, Harmonic Mystique is a sonic journey as captivating and mysterious as Divine Majestic himself. This genre-blurring album doesn’t just echo originality — it resurrects it.
